Meet The Instructor

Rhett Schweitzer, DPT, MTC, OCS, RYT is an orthopedic board-certified Doctor of Physical Therapy, author, professor, certified yoga instructor. He owned Premier PT & Yoga, a sports & orthopedic physical therapy practice and yoga therapy studio, for over a decade in Clearwater, Florida.

Dr. Schweitzer was an adjunct professor at University of South Florida, has lectured at several national conferences, including 2021 APTA Combined Sections and has written several textbook chapters on physical therapy-related topics. He is currently writing a book chapter on foot and ankle conditions.

You’ll find him currently teaching in the PTA program at Pima Medical Institute as well as teaching live courses around the country. He is passionate about educating clinicians how to integrate yoga into their existing treatment plans successfully.
